Far more than expressions like 'beautiful', 'tectonic' and 'morphology', architecture is more a mixture of culture, life, techniques, social problems, and aesthetics. Compared to the pace of the society changes, architecture usually have a huge time lag to respond to these emerging problems or opportunities. So I became especially interested in architectural materiality and new techniques and exploring what these tangible physical dimensions and construction of objects  can bring to architecture so as to bridge these gaps.
